FILM MUSIC
A few recent commissions 
Members of the Coldstream Guards did a sponsored walk of Hadrian's Wall to raise funds for the charity Coldstream Kids. WayOut Productions put videos and pictures together to make a DVD. I was asked to write two pieces, a choir and 'orchestra' theme, and a folk song - 'Flowers by a Wall'. Click below to hear the music. Click the poster to see a preview
From the Hadrian's Wall project grew a documentary film about a veteran of the Malayan War. 'The Lost Patrol' is an acount with re-enactment of the amazing testimony of Eric Gulston, and how he saved the lives of his patrol. Click on the poster to view a preview. Two other pieces grew out of this project, which have yet to be used. 'Campaign' is a pastiche of 1940's light orchestral music, 'Selamat Detang' (which means -Welcome - in Malaysian) is for the opening credits of a project yet to be completed. |
